Fire rated glass installation is a compliance job. You’ll usually need it because building control or an architect has specified it, in a glazed internal door on an escape route, a partition between a garage and the house, or a panel beside a staircase in certain types of property.
Once it’s fitted, fire rated glass looks the same as any other pane.
