If your windows are misting up, sticking, or you can feel the draught coming through with the heating on, the sealed units have usually gone rather than the frames. We fit uPVC and aluminium, both from the same premium suppliers the bigger firms round here use.

A slim second pane fitted inside your existing window. Keeps the heat in and the noise out, and it suits conservation properties where you cannot change the original windows. Ideal for the older houses round Ely and Cambridge.

Questions People Ask

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does a composite door cost in Ely?

Most composite front doors come in between £1,500 and £2,500 plus VAT supplied and fitted, depending on the size, the glass and the hardware you pick. That is the whole job, not just the door. Send a photo on WhatsApp and we will give you a ballpark before anyone comes out.

My windows have misted up. Do I need new windows or can they be repaired?

Usually just the glass. When a double glazed unit mists up it means the seal has failed and moisture has got in between the panes. The frame is often completely fine. If the frames have gone too, we will tell you.

Do you do the work yourselves or send a team?

Dan does it himself. He quotes it, measures it and fits it. On a bigger job he brings his trusted team of installers for the lifting, but he is there from start to finish.

Are you certified, and what happens if something goes wrong?

Dan is Assure Certified, so every installation is self-certified to building regulations and comes with an insurance-backed guarantee. Fully insured. If something needs putting right, you ring Dan and he comes back.

What areas do you cover around Ely?

Ely is where most of the work is, along with Littleport, Soham, Witchford, Sutton and Haddenham. We go out as far as Chatteris, March, Newmarket, Huntingdon, St Ives and Downham Market. Roughly a 30 mile radius.

Thinking About a New Door or Windows?

Give Dan a ring or send a photo on WhatsApp and we will give you a rough price for your doors, windows or repairs. If it looks right, we will come out and do you a proper quote, free and no obligation.
